Back in 2014, I had only one question I needed to ask myself, and that was “WHAT IF I DIED?”
That was the question I asked myself as I laid on the pavement waiting for the ambulance to arrive. I had just gotten hit by an SUV while crossing the street; my head was bleeding and my pelvis was broken in two places.
“What if I died?!” That was the question that was running through my head. “Would I have been satisfied with the life I was living?” The answer was no.
Since that day, I’ve dedicated myself to living an intentional life. I quit my corporate job in digital marketing, and now offer web design, copy-writing, and branding to help small business owners just like you be intentional and make an impact as well.
When I say I’ve been there, I mean I’ve been there.
I owned a yoga studio in Truro, NS from 2015 – 2019. It was part of how I gave back within my intentional life… Yoga helped me recover from the accident physically and emotionally, and I wanted to share the same healing with our community. My yoga studio focused on body positivity, inclusivity, and accessibility. My heart was full… but my pockets weren’t. I was burning the candle at both ends; trying to stay with my vision, but also trying to keep the doors open and profit in order to build my own life (you know, like actually have a savings account?).
After investing so much time, money, and energy into learning marketing, branding, design, and messaging, I fell in love with making an impact from behind the scenes. I eventually traded in my stretching sequences and yoga pants for brand strategies and well… still yoga pants!
I’ve been fortunate that I’ve naturally attracted a clientele of small business owners looking to do the same thing; spread their message and make the world a better place.

I’ve worked as a Digital Sales Supervisor for a leading Canadian media company, an e-Commerce/Marketing/IT Manager for two retail companies, and I’ve run my own businesses (both brick-and-mortar, and online) since 2015.
I hold a diploma in Business Management, a certification in Professional Copywriting, and I am experienced in both sales and online marketing. Oh, and I am also a self-taught web designer (and I’m very proud of that!).
